I believe wholeheartedly that this is where we can make a difference in a child’s education. Natural play gives children the opportunity to develop strength, resilience, passion, and a connection and relationship with the limitless potential of their environment.

Professional Development and Walkthroughs

Lukas’s extensive knowledge as an outdoor educator heavily influences his design style: green open spaces scattered with native plants for free-range exploration; recycled timber structures to climb and welcome risk; secluded zones for quiet moments. He also understands the complexity and pressures that centre directors, owners and educators face when trying to provide the best service possible. After 10 years of research and development in the field, Lukas remains passionate about education not just for the children but for the ones entrusted with their care. The goal of his sessions is to equip educators with the tools to empower them in the environment, and avoid them feeling like they have to micro manage every move the children make.

Lukas’ sessions are inspiring and engaging and can we held as a half day training along with a recorded walkthrough and or workshop. Contact us here for more details.

That time Lukas was in Finland speaking to schools about the importance of kids being encouraged to be kids! Finnish schools introduce reading and writing to children when they're 8 or 9 years old. Play is a big priority for a country that excels in academia...they're definitely doing something right!
